Trzy handlowe nawozy mineralne podzielono na 5 frakcji różniących się wielkością ziarna i poddano testom wytrzymałości na ściskanie przy 6 prędkościach ściskania. Stwierdzono bardzo silne ujemne korelacje liniowe między siłą niszczącą granule a logarytmem naturalnym prędkości ściskania. Wraz ze wzrostem prędkości kompresji zmniejszała się wytrzymałość granul na ściskanie. Uziarnienie miało wpływ na zależność między siłą niszczącą granule a prędkością ściskania.

Three com. mineral fertilizers were divided into 5 fractions differing in grain size and subjected to compressive strength tests using 6 compressing speeds. Very strong negative linear correlations between the breaking force of the granules and the natural logarithm of the compression speed were found. As the compression speed increased, the compressive strength of the granule decreased. The granularity affected the relationship between the breaking force of granules and the compressing speed for a given fertilizer.

The results of investigations on the effect of liquid surface tension changes and the degree of liquid spraying on the strength of a product obtained during drum granulation process were presented in the paper. Silica flour and distilled water with addition of Rokanoi L4P5 were used in the experiments.
