A self-propelled anti-aircraft rocket system is presented in the paper. The system consists of a target-homing short-range missile launcher, a ground vehicle and a driver. The driver activates the process of launching of the two rockets consecutively. The aim of the paper is to discuss the influence of the launcher guide-missile system structure on the anti-aircraft rocket system.

Niniejszy artykuł omawia podstawowe problemy związane z bezpieczeństwem strzelań rakietowych zestawu przeciwlotniczego KUB na poligonach mniejszych niż możliwości taktyczno-techniczne zestawu oraz przedstawia model urządzenia zabezpieczającego, montowanego na wyrzutni 2P25M2, umożliwiającego bezpieczne strzelanie z wykorzystaniem nowszego typu rakiet - KUB M3.

The main problems of safety linked with using of KUB antiaircraft missile system at the smaller ranges than system's tactical-technical capacities are presented in the paper with presentation of a protecting unit integrated on the 2P25M2 launcher for safe firing a newer KUB M3 missile version.

The paper presents the dynamics of a system consisting of a self-propelled vehicle and a short-range missile rocket launcher. The missiles are launched in turn one by one. As a result of their movement the system starts vibrating. The described model makes it possible to analyse the conditions under which the missiles are launched.

W artykule przedstawiono zasadnicze rezultaty modernizacji systemu rakietowego BM-21. Polskie Siły Zbrojne zainteresowane są modernizacją tego systemu oraz amunicji. Modernizacja systemu realizowana jest z zastosowaniem nowych technologii i dotyczy amunicji, podwozia, systemu kierowania ogniem oraz części artyleryjskiej. Zmodernizowany system posiada amunicję odłamkowo burzącą o zasięgu 41 km oraz amunicję kasetową o zasięgu 31 km. Zmodernizowany system zamierza się wdrożyć do eksploatacji w wojskach.

The main results of BM-21 rocket system upgrading are presented. Polish Armed Forces are interested in this system and ammunition upgrading. The upgrading of the system has been carried out by using new technologies and relates to ammunition, undercarriage, fire control system and artillery part. Upgraded system which is intended to be in service has HE ammunition with max. range 41 km and cargo ammunition with max. range 31 km.
