Tests of the non-linear adjustment methods in the case of the log-normal errors distribution

The paper presents the results of an adjustment of the random variables with the log-normal distribution. Adjustment has been carried out with selected non-linear methods: the non-linear least square method (for normal and log-normal distributions), the least log-square and log-normal method (for log-normal distributions). Correlation coefficients between the observations errors and received residuals for the observations have been computed and compared. Tests have shown that special methods of compensation for the log-normal observations errors distribution may only give the results comparable to the least square method in the case of the normal observations errors distribution.
