W praktyce mostowej spotyka się prefabrykację obejmującą całe przęsła, czasem segmenty lub jako belki tworzące z płytą pomostową dźwigary główne. Do porównywania efektywności różnych technologii budowy mostów stosuje się wskaźniki techniczno-ekonomiczne dotyczące: czasu budowy, finansów, zużycia materiałów lub geometrii przęsła. W artykule analizuje się wskaźniki materiałowe – zużycie betonu oraz stali sprężającej i zbrojeniowej.

The choice of a bridge construction technology arises from its structural system (static scheme, maximum span and length) and it is usually adapted to local conditions, as well as the availability of technical equipment for the contractor. These elements affect the economic indicator and construction time. The study have analyzed technical (objective) indicators in the form of the consumption of materials identified as the volume of concrete and the mass of reinforcement and presstresed steel. They allow to compare the effectiveness of bridges with various static schemes, completed in other technologies than bridge spans built of precast prestressed beams – as presented in the paper. On the basis of the selected examples of prefabricated bridges, the characteristic differences of the values of materials indicators have been presented. As a result of the parametric analysis, the volume of concrete and the mass of reinforcement and prestressed steel in various types of prefabricated beams has been defined. Based on the analysis of bridges currently being constructed and built before, a significant increase of reinforcement in precast elements is being observed.
