This article presents the method and results of the theoretical modal analysis of the internal grinder SOH-10 work piece headstock: furthermore, this paper develops and discusses the harmful influence of vibrating elements on the internal grinding processes. The article also indicates an improvement of the construction and assembly conditions of the grinder in order to minimize the harmful effect.
