W artykule przedstawiono problem wykonania typowych instalacji, przede wszystkim elektrycznych w budynkach o konstrukcji drewnianej, z uwagi na warunki pożarowe. Omówiono zagrożenia w przypadku typowych gniazdek i przełączników elektrycznych oraz uszczelnień przejść instalacyjnych.

The aim of the paper was a comparative analysis of energy demand for heating and human thermal comfort of a model singlefamily house with natural ventilation in various construction technologies (wood and brick), located in the Polish temperate climate. The frequency, as well as, the window opening area in the building have been optimized taking into account two objective functions: heating demand and number of thermal discomfort hours. The analyses were based on thermal simulations using the EnergyPlus program on the nine-zone model of the selected house. Each building construction case was calculated for two variants of external partitions insulation. The thermal model, separately for each zone, contained hourly internal heat gain schedules. All simulations were carried out with a 15-minute step for the full calendar year. Analyzes have shown that the heating demand for a building made in wooden technology is higher than a building in brick technology. The wooden building has a greater number of thermal discomfort hours. Increasing the insulation properties of the house increases the number of hours of discomfort.

Kościoły drewniane są w Polsce zjawiskiem szczególnym. Ich niezwykły charakter jest wyrazem idei funkcjonalno-przestrzennej ukształtowanej u zarania chrześcijaństwa na ziemiach polskich. Kiedyś niezwykle powszechne, stanowiły na tle architektury murowanej najliczniejszą grupę obiektów sakralnych. Dziś nieliczne zachowane przykłady, z których najstarsze pochodzą z drugiej połowy XV wieku, stanowią najcenniejszą pamiątkę i świadectwo sacrum dawnych czasów. Mimo iż najstarsze zachowane w Polsce kościoły to obiekty murowane, można zaryzykować stwierdzenie, że oba nurty rozwijane były równocześnie, a ich ewolucję warunkowały czynniki i potrzeby lokalne. Niniejsza praca jest próbą syntetycznego przedstawienia cech typowych dla najwcześniejszych kościołów drewnianych na podstawie znanych XV-wiecznych obiektów. Są to przykłady z terenów Małopolski, Śląska, Wielkopolski i Mazowsza, lecz zdaniem badaczy mogą one stanowić reprezentatywną grupę kościołów drewnianych typu gotyckiego. Opracowanie ma na celu przedstawienie zabytkowej architektury sakralnej z uwzględnieniem takich aspektów, jak: forma, funkcja, konstrukcja, materiał czy właściwości fizykalne. Ważne jest, aby na tę wyjątkową grupę obiektów spojrzeć w kontekście współczesnych zasad zrównoważonego budownictwa, dostrzegając w nich cechy świadczące o szerokiej wiedzy, doświadczeniu oraz intuicji ówczesnych budowniczych.

The wooden churches of Poland are a special phenomenon. Their unique nature reflects a functional and spatial idea formed in the dawn of Christianity on Polish soil. Once very common, they stood out as the most numerous group of religious buildings. Nowadays, the few preserved examples which date back to the second half of the 15th century are the most valuable keepsake and an evidence of the sacred of the old times. Although the oldest preserved churches in Poland are made of stone, it seems safe to say that both currents were developed concurrently which was conditioned by the local factors and needs. This paper attempts to summarize the features typical for the earliest wooden churches based on the 15th century buildings. They include examples from the regions of Lesser Poland, Silesia, Greater Poland and Mazovia but, according to the researchers, they can be a representative group of the Gothic wooden churches. The paper aims to present the historical religious architecture while taking into account the following aspects: form, function, structure, material or physical properties. It is important to consider the unique group of structures in the context of the contemporary sustainable construction and notice their features being the proof of a broad knowledge, awareness and intuition of the builders of that time.

W artykule przedstawiono cechy charakterystyczne warstw materiałowych ścian zewnętrznych murowanych i wykonywanych w technologii drewnianej z uwzględnieniem wymagań w zakresie ochrony cieplno-wilgotnościowej. Wykonano analizę ścian murowanych i w technologii drewnianej w zakresie strat ciepła oraz oceny złączy w zakresie ryzyka występowania kondensacji powierzchniowej. Sformułowano podstawowe kryteria w zakresie kształtowania układów materiałowych ścian zewnętrznych i ich złączy.

The paper presents the characteristics of layers of materials of outside masonry walls and wooden technology walls, accounting for temperature and moisture protection requirements. Masonry and wooden walls were reviewed for heat losses and joints were assessed for risk of surface condensation. Basic criteria were defined for determination of layouts of materials for external walls and their joints.

The ground floor is a crucial element of the wooden log building construction. It transfers its own and usable load and insulates the building from the warmth loss on the whole floor surface. That is why the technological solutions of this zone influence the safety and warmth comfort during use of such buildings.

Rosnąca degradacja drewnianych obiektów sakralnych, ich niedoinwestowanie, brak środków finansowych na ich utrzymanie, skłaniają do podjęcia starań o zachowanie tych dóbr narodowych. Warto zwrócić uwagę na te obiekty tak dobrze niegdyś wpisane w historyczną panoramę kulturową. Są one dziś często zapomniane, pozostawione samym sobie, zdominowane przez obiekty współczesnej architektury.
