Work on increasing the efficiency of heat exchangers used in car air conditioning systems may lead to a partial change in the construction of refrigeration systems. One of such changes is the use of smaller gas coolers, which directly translates into a reduction in the production costs of the entire system. The article presents the use of computational fluid dynamics methods to simulate the impact of changing the shape of an internal heat exchanger on the cooling efficiency with R744 as the refrigerant. Internal heat exchangers with different geometry of the outer channels were subjected to numerical analysis. The obtained results of calculations show temperature changes in inner and outer channels on the length of the heat exchanger.

W artykule przedstawiono analizę pracy górniczej chłodziarki powietrza pośredniego działania typu TS-450P z wewnętrznym wymiennikiem ciepła. Wykazano wpływ zastosowania wewnętrznego wymiennika ciepła na parametry pracy chłodziarki takie jak jednostkowa wydajność chłodnicza, właściwa praca sprężania czy współczynnik wydajności chłodniczej.

An analysis of work of mine air compression refrigerator TS-450P type with internal heat exchanger was described in this article. Influence of internal heat exchanger on main parameters of work of air compression refrigerator: refrigeration capacity, specific compression work and refrigerating capacity coefficient was demonstrated.

W artykule przedstawiono analizę zmian mocy cieplnej i współczynników wydajności chłodniczej górniczych chłodziarek powietrza typu TS-300 oraz TS-450P przez instalację wewnętrznego wymiennika ciepła.

An use of internal heat exchanger (IHX) in refrigerating system allows increasing the refrigerating capacity of refrigerators. The analysis of the changes of thermal power and refrigerating capacity of TS-300 and TS-450P mining refrigerators types with internal heat exchanger were described in this article.
