Water-environmental subsystem of the Raszynka catchment area is build of: spatial units called hydrotops and ecohydrotops which have an important role of ground and surface water recharge, the river and its inflows with water reservoirs which act as connections and carriers of water and chemical constituents. The main elements of the subsystem are as follows: hydrological node area “Magdalenka” - which recharges useful water resources and water heads of the river; hydrological node area “Nowa Wola” with large surface and subsurface water retention which supply groundwaters, hydrological corridor “Raszynka valley” - main axis connecting regional and local water system as a whole, hydrological connections - enforcing elements of the corridor “Raszynka valley” and supporting node areas „Łady” i „Lesznowola-Nowa Wola”.
