Część pierwsza artykułu zawiera charakterystykę symulacyjnej metody badania systemów. Praktyczne jej zastosowanie do wyznaczania charakterystyk systemu uwarunkowane jest adekwatnością modelu symulacyjnego. W niniejszej części przedstawiono zastosowanie symulacji cyfrowej do komputerowego wspomagania zarządzania eksploatacją systemów technicznych na przykładzie przedsiębiorstwa wodociągów i kanalizacji. Scharakteryzowano właściwości użytkowe pakietu symulacji statycznej rozpływu wody w sieci wodociągowej. Stanowi on integralną część oprogramowania systemu informatycznego wspomagającego realizację zadań wykonywanych przez osoby funkcyjne przedsiębiorstwa wodociągów i kanalizacji.

In the first part of the paper the essence of simulation method of research of systems has been shown, paying attention to the fact that the practical usage of the method is conditioned by the adequacy of the model. The issue of the adequacy estimation of the simulation model has been considered. In the present part (three) of the paper the problem of the characteristic calculation of system functioning and statistical optimisation on the ground the model of regression has been described. The task of characteristic calculation has been resolved into the designation of the mathematical model of regression. In the practical activity, the crucial matter is the knowledge of activity performance of separate stages of regression which depend on the used method of the regression approximation with the use of mathematical model. In the paper the analysis and estimation of the quality of the distinguished methods of the regression model selection have been done. In order to begin the realisation of the simulation research we must have well-defined range of variability of analysed factors and we a priori must know the analytical form of the regrression model. It had the vital influence on both the number of the necessary experiments and the research plan. The essential issues connected with it have been touched in the present paper. In the final part of the paper, the analysis of the possibilities of making the characteristic calculation in the simulation reserach more accurate has been done. The methods of the variation reduction of the estimation of the characteristics calculated in the simulation researches with the introduction of negative correlation between the results of the observation from separate experiments have been given.
