Macroelements in the grass mixtures applied at the biological re-cultivation of the waste dump

The field experiment was carried out applying the sewage sludge and the grass mixtures for the biological re-cultivation of the municipal waste dump. Three sewage sludge rates were used: 20, 40 and 60 kg DM. 10 m^-2 as well as five grass mixtures and one inter-genus hybrid Festulolium. A significant dependence between the macroelements content in the plant material and the rate of the applied sewage sludge was found. The highest contents of the general macroelements in the studied grasses occurred in the first year of the experiment. No significant dependence among the macroelements and the species composition of the applied mixtures was observed. The tested plants were characterized by a very high potassium level, which makes this biomass useless as a fodder.
