Pursuant to the EN 1991-2 European standard on traffic loads for bridges, adjustment factors equaling 1.00 are to be used during the design phase. Under the standard, such a factor corresponds to international traffic load values with a considerable share of heavy weight vehicles. The minimum value of the CCqi concentrated force factor equals 0.8, while the a^ equal load factor value amounts to not less than 1.00. Results of the analysis presented in the article indicate that the value of adjustment factors provided for in the standard should be higher.

Artykuł opisuje zmiany wytężenia elementów konstrukcji dachów stalowych podczas wieloletniej eksploatacji. Zmiany te spowodowane są zmianą wartości obciążenia od śniegu oraz wielokrotną konserwacją pokrycia.

The article shows the changes of effort in the structure elements of steel roofs during maintenance. This is caused by the changes of Load Standards and the additional layers of roof cover.
