This paper is devoted to the study of the impact of volumetric planning solutions and the main production and technological parameters of a modern warehouse on the effectiveness of its functioning. The object of analysis is a class A warehouse complex located in Almaty. Simulation modeling was utilized to find and substantiate management decisions. The software product AnyLogic was used as the environment for the simulation. This paper develops a generalized algorithm for creating simulation models of warehouse complexes and a simulation model consisting of 114 blocks. The model is presented in the form of a black box, which made it possible to identify and establish correlations and relations between the input and output parameters of the warehouse, as well as its resources. A simulation experiment was conducted consisting of 63 model calculations. Variation parameters were the number of loading and unloading docks, as well as the number of forklifts in the storage area. As a result of the simulation, four options for the operation of the warehouse were established to ensure the unloading and loading of the required number of cars during the day. The optimal variant of the functioning of the warehouse complex was chosen on the basis of the proposed comprehensive criterion.

The first automated, high-bay, warehouses were introduced some 50 years ago. Since then, developments have continued at a rapid pace. Initially, automation was mainly focused on pallet warehouses with bulk storage facilities. A major reason was to increase the storage density, which could be achieved by making the warehouses higher. Later, mini-load warehouses and order picking warehouses were also automated. In this paper we will discuss the different types of automated systems as well as a number of scientific results that are now known about such systems. We will first discuss storage systems for unit loads (bins and pallets). This will be followed by order picking systems from which individual packages can be picked. Finally, we will provide our future expectations of warehouse automation.

Rynek powierzchni magazynowych w Polsce charakteryzuje się stałym rozwojem. Już w 2016 roku podpisano umowy najmu na ponad 3 mln m2. Wyniki notowane w sektorze nieruchomości magazynowych z roku na rok są coraz lepsze, a modernizacja łańcuchów dostaw, poprawa jakości dostępu do infrastruktury oraz konsumpcja wymusza na deweloperach inwestycje w nowe budynki. Wysoka absorpcja powierzchni, a także duża liczba inwestycji nie zwiększa natomiast liczby pustostanów na terenie Polski. Celem artykułu jest ukazanie aktualnej sytuacji na rynku powierzchni magazynowych w Polsce w artykule wymienione zostały cele funkcjonowania wymienionych obiektów logistycznych, a także przedstawiono perspektywy rozwoju tego segmentu rynku.

Warehouse space market in Poland is still developing. In 2016 where signed rental agreements for over 3 milions square metres. The results in real estate warehouse market year by year is better, modernization of a supply chains, better quality of accessibility to infrastructure and bigger consumption force on developers investments in new buildings. High absorption warehouse space markets and a big numer of investments, do not foreshorten the amount of vacant buildings in whole Poland. This article shows current situation on a warehouse space market in Poland and also included the purpose of working enumerate logistics objects and prospects of development this market.

Przedmiotem artykułu jest przedstawienie metody optymalizacji sieci logistycznej skoncentrowanej wokół przedsiębiorstwa produkcyjnego. Problemem jest wyznaczenie optymalnej liczby obiektów magazynowych oraz przyporządkowanie do nich przedsiębiorstw produkcyjnych, w taki sposób aby koszty obsługi obszaru były minimalne, a przy tym spełnione były z jednej strony wymagania przedsiębiorstwa produkcyjnego, zaś z drugiej strony możliwości techniczno-ekonomiczne dostawców usług logistycznych.

This paper presents a method of optimization the logistics network centric production company. The problem is to determine the optimal number of warehouses, assigning them to production companies, in such a way that the costs of servicing the area are minimal, and at the same was satisfied on the one hand the requirements of production companies and, on the other hand, the possibility of technical and economical logistics service providers.

On the background of neighboring countries, development perspectives of the warehouse market in Poland were presented, including differences between warehouse and logistic services. Criterions, which should be followed by logistic centers and barriers of their development in Poland were also presented.

Całkowita wielkość powierzchni magazynowych w Polsce w 2004 r. wynosiła ok. 17621 515 m2. W latach 2004-2007 -jak wykazują raporty opracowane przez Instytut Logistyki i Magazynowania - nastąpił dynamiczny wzrost tych powierzchni. Można wnioskować, ze w konsekwencji aktualny stan powierzchni magazynowych jest znacznie większy. Największy przyrost powierzchni magazynowych miał miejsce w województwie mazowieckim oraz o połowę mniejszy w województwach wielkopolskim, śląskim i dolnośląskim. Nie jest zatem przypadkiem, ze podjęto próbę poszukiwania metod optymalizacji systemów magazynowych. Temat jest bardzo aktualny i ważny - zarówno z punktu widzenia teoretycznego, jak utylitarnego. Ma on charakter pionierski z uwagi na brak tego rodzaju rozwiązań w praktyce.
