Nonspreading wave packets describing an electron in a hydrogen atom interacting with microwave radiation may exist under special conditions. They are called Trojan wave packets by an analogy with Trojan asteroids in the Sun-Jupiter system. The Trojan wave packets are extremely stable against ionization and even more stable against decay by spontaneous emission of light.
