Przedstawiono wyniki własnych badań właściwości statycznych i dynamicznych podstawowych modułów tensegrity, które mogą być wykorzystane w konstrukcji wież stalowych. Złożoność odpowiedzi na obciążenie statyczne zilustrowano za pomocą nieliniowego modelu modułu o trzech niewiadomych, obciążonego pionowo, z uwzględnieniem dużych przemieszczeń. Na podstawie eksperymentalnej analizy modalnej zbadano zależność podstawowej częstotliwości drgań własnych od stopnia sprężenia modułu.

Results of research on static and dynamic tests carried out on tensegrity modules, which can be utilized in steel tower construction, were presented. Complexity of static response was illustrated by a nonlinear model of an axially loaded module, taking into account large displacements. Based on the experimental modal analysis tests, the dependence of the first eigenfrequency in relation of self-stress magnitude was found.

Przedstawiono wpływ wybranych czynników fizykochemicznych, występujących w kotłach stalowniczych pieców łukowych, na charakterystyki wyładowań elektrycznych. Opisano statyczne i dynamiczne właściwości łuków sitnoprqdowych. Oceniono użyteczność wybranych modeli matematycznych łuków, które są wykorzystywane do symulacji procesów w układach zasilania pieców łukowych. Rozpatrzono zagadnienia wyznaczania charakterystyk łuku elektrycznego w warunkach eksploatacji przemysłowej pieców łukowych.

The influence of selected physicochemicai factors occurring in steel arc furnaces on the characteristics of electric discharges has been presented. Static and dynamic properties of high current arcs have been described. The usefulness of selected mathematical arcs models, which are used to simulate processes in arc furnace power systems, has been evaluated. The issues of determining the characteristics of electric arc in the conditions of industrial operation of arc furnaces nave been considered.

Pneumatic flexible shaft couplings allow the change of their stiffness by the pressure change of gaseous medium in their pneumatic flexible elements, allowing their use as a device for continuous tuning of torsional oscillating mechanical systems directly during operation. The aim of this paper is to verify the accuracy of compression volume modeling method on existing pneumatic flexible coupling, by comparison of static load characteristics obtained experimentally with characteristics calculated from mathematical and physical model.

W Zakładzie Projektowania i Części Maszyn Wydziału Mechanicznego Uniwersytetu Technicznego w Koszycach prowadzone są prace dotyczące badań i rozwoju pneumatycznych sprzęgieł podatnych. Pneumatyczne sprzęgła podatne umożliwiają zmianę ich sztywności przez zmianę ciśnienia medium gazowego w podatnych elementach pneumatycznych. Celem niniejszego artykułu jest sprawdzenie dokładności metody modelowania objętości przestrzeni sprężania wybranego pneumatycznego sprzęgła podatnego przez porównanie statycznych charakterystyk obciążeniowych uzyskanych eksperymentalnie z obliczonymi na podstawie modelu matematyczno-fizycznego.

On our department we deal with the research and development of pneumatic flexible shaft couplings. The aim of this paper is to present the way to determine the static load characteristics of pneumatic coupling. By this method, the pneumatic flexible shaft coupling is described by a mathematical and physical model which parameters are determined from the results of static load characteristics measurement.

W naszej pracowni zajmujemy się badaniami i rozwojem pneumatycznych sprzęgieł elestycznych łączących wały. Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie nowego sposobu określania właściwości statycznych pneumatycznych sprzęgieł elestycznych łączących wały. W podanym sposobie pneumatyczne sprzęgło elastyczne łączące wały jest opisane przez model matematyczno-fizyczny, którego parametry są wyznaczone na podstawie wyników pomiarów eksperymentalnych jego statycznych charakterystyk obciążenia.

Od kilku lat w Zakładzie Inżynierii Spajania Politechniki Warszawskiej prowadzone są prace badawczo-konstrukcyjne nad opracowaniem i wdrożeniem do praktyki systemu pomiarowego do badań właściwości statycznych i dynamicznych urządzeń zasilania łuku spawalniczego. Pierwsze wersje tego systemu były omawiane fragmentarycznie w publikowanych wcześniej opracowaniach. Najnowsza jego wersja, będąca połączeniem wirtualnego przyrządu pomiarowego ze sterowanym obciążeniem rezystancyjnym, jest przedmiotem tego artykułu. Omówiono w nim najważniejsze założenia konstrukcyjne oraz praktyczną realizację unikatowego systemu pomiarowego.

During last few years in Welding Engineering Division of Warsaw University of Technology some research and design activities concerned on construction and implementation to practice a computer system for measuring static and dynamic properties of power supplies for arc welding have been carried on. Previous version of such system have been already described in former publicatins. The newest one being a combination of virtual measuring device and controlled output resistance load module is described here. Basic design assumptions as well as the practical implementation of such innovative measuring system is described.

The paper presents the design attributes and static characteristics of a new 6/4 topology of a low cost brushless DC permanent magnet (BLDCPM) motor. To analyse the motor performance, steady state characteristics are obtained by using quasi-static finite element analysis (FEA). Computational results are presented in figures and tables. The analysis of the motor characteristics will be used as a reliable tool for design optimisation of this novel low cost BLDCPM motor.

In last years all wider monolithic flat reinforced-concrete slabs, especially in building engineering (habitation, offices and others) are used. There is also a tendency to the increase of such slabs and use them in commercial and exhibition complexes. The flights of the monolithic slabs are 6 to 9 m, and limited by thickness 20 to 30 cm. Checking the static calculations show the limit, by the general conditions of deformation and crack resistance. Own weight of such slabs is considerable and 2 to 3 times exceeds an actual useful load. With the purpose of diminishing own weight of flat monolithic reinforced-concrete slabs it is expedient to put in them effective insertions from relation to easy and cheap materials, dispose in middle part a cut and abandon in slab after his concreting. In the search of materials for such insertions were performed tests on the fragments of slabs from pipes by hollow and continuous expanded polystyrene insertions. Results of which are given in previous publications. The results of these researches were taken into account at design and making of a few flat monolithic slabs with the effective insertions of different sizes, forms and charts: rectangular sizes in the plan of 7,6 x 12,1m in the Lviv area, Ukraine (diminishing of own weight of slab 32%); round the radius of 9,1M with intermediate radial metallic beams in M. Lviv (diminishing of own weight of slab 47%); rectangular uncut sizes in the plan of 12 x 24 m with intermediate metallic beams with the step of 6M in the Zakarpatskiy area, Ukraine (diminishing of own weight of slab 49%); collapsible-monolithic sizes in the plan of 12 x 24 m in the Zakarpatskiy area, Ukraine (diminishing of own weight of slab 52%). Test of fragments of the flat monolithic slabs and model slab sizes to 7,6 x 12,1 static the features of the tensely deformed state of different type found out loading in cuts with insertions, that it is necessary to take into account at checking calculations and constructing of such ceilings. General static chart of work of slab, form and sizes of insertions it can be simple and difficult uni- and the biaxial tensely deformed state, entailed to combination of general and local (in cuts with insertions) power factors. Monolithic reinforced-concrete slabs with effective insertions are very useful in buildings on seismically active territories. They have substantially (to 35 ... 50%) diminished dead weight and at the same time keep the continuous disk of slab as whole.

The paper presents a methodological basis and an experimental method of determining static properties of subassemblies, such as sliding block and profiled guide rail. It also includes a description of a prototype of a test stand which was first designed and later produced. The authors demonstrate the results of their experiments carried out on some selected guideway subassemblies. The paper also contains an assessment of the examinations.

Zaprojektowano i zrealizowano technicznie prototyp stanowiska badawczego. Omówiono wybrane wyniki wykonanych badań wybranych podzespołów prowadnicowych i przeprowadzono ich analizę.

W pracy dokonano przeglądu zależności pomiędzy stałymi wystepującymi w charakterystykach statycznych i cyklicznych. Na podstawie zebranych badań eksperymentalnych dotyczących stopów aluminium zaproponowano wybrane nowe zależności pomiędzy własnościami statycznymi i cyklicznymi dla tej grupy materiałów. Zaproponowano też zależności pomiędzy wybranymi stałymi opisującymi własności cykliczne.

The paper contains a review of relationships between the constants occuring in static and cyclic characteristics. Basing on the collected test results for aluminium alloys, the authors proposed certain new relationships between static and cyclic properties for these materials. Relationships between the selected constants describing cyclic properties were proposed as well.

Celem opisywanych prac było określenie na drodze pomiarów własności freza jak i stołu obrabiarki. Badania te z jednej strony mogą pozwolić na określenie dokładności wymiarowo-kształtowej frezowanych przedmiotów, a z drugiej strony mogą być pomocne przy analizie własności dynamicznych.

The goal of the conducted study was to determine the static properties (static stiffness) of the FS 550 CNC planer mill by the use of measuring methods. The focal point of the research was the determination of the properties of the milling cutter and the machine tool table. On one hand, the study allows to define dimensional-shaped accuracy of the milled items, whereas on the other, it can be useful for analyzing dynamic properties.

W niniejszej pracy przedstawiono równania stanu ustalonego oraz odpowiadające im schematy zastępcze sprzęgła indukcyjnego obcowzbudnego, pracującego w stanie ustalonym. Uwzględniono wydatnobiegunowość wirnika wewnętrznego oraz oddziaływanie litego rdzenia i uzwojenia roboczego w tworniku. Przedstawiono równania określające zależność momentu elektromagnetycznego sprzęgła od parametrów schematu zastępczego i prędkości kątowych wirników sprzęgła. Wykreślono charakterystyki mechaniczne sprzęgieł indukcyjnych, różniących się parametrami schematu zastępczego.

The paper presents the equations at steady states and the equivalent circuits of the inductive separate - excited clutch. The salient - poling of the internal rotor and the influence of solid core and armature winding have been taken into account The equations describing the relationship between the clutch electromagnetic torque and the equivalent circuit parameters as well as the rotor angular speed have been presented. The torque - speed characteristics of the inductive clutch for the various equivalent circuit parameters have been shown.
