W niniejszym artykule autorzy przedstawiają wyniki badań przeprowadzonych w wybranych tramwajach Krakowskiej Komunikacji Miejskiej. Badaniem objęto dwa typy tramwajów: 105Na i NGT6. Badania miały na celu oszacowanie poziomu dyskomfortu wibracyjnego w losowo wybranych pojazdach. Badania zostały zrealizowane na torowiskach śródmiejskich Krakowa o znacznym stopniu zużycia eksploatacyjnego. Na podstawie zarejestrowanych sygnałów przyspieszeń drgań zostały obliczone współczynniki r.m.s, PCT.

The article presents the results of Cracow trams comfort tests. The 105Na and NGT6 trams were the subject of tests. The evaluating of vibration comfort level was the aim of tests. The tests were carried out on old Cracow tram tracks. On the bases of the vibration acceleration signals, the r.m.s. index and Pct index were calculated.

Drgania Całego Organizmu (DCO) mogą wpływać na odczuwalny komfort i zdrowie kierowcy - operatora. .

Whole Body Vibrations (WBV) can affect vehicle operator comfort and health. Occupational exposure to WBV and transient vehicle vibrations increases when driving on rough or bumpy roads. This paper analyses the effect of mechanical vibration exposure on driver body and application of biomechanical models for discomfort assessment. In According to ISO 2631-1 and ISO 7096 biomechanical driver model is under influence of vibration for multi axes direction. Simulation results were compared to experimental result and introduced on a charts and calculation.

This paper focuses on an attempt of an employment of a continuous wavelet transform as a tool of time-frequency analysis to identify and asses the comfort on discrete events. A short review of practical procedures for predicting vibration discomfort defined by ISO 2631-5 and BS 6041, ENV 12299 is enclosed. The results of research of tram temporary comfort disturbances are also described in the paper. The research enclosed the comfort on curve transitions and comfort on discrete events. Research was carried out in the old city centre as in this area there are a lot of curves and large number of excitations can be expected. An exemplary analysis of tram comfort using a continuous wavelet transform is presented. The signals in time intervals in which PCr and PDE indexes that have high values are analyzed. Moreover, the evaluation of comfort disturbances using wavelet transform based on Morlet mother wavelet is done. The continuous wavelet transform that was employed proves high usefulness of this method for assessment of temporary comfort disturbances. The results of Fourier transform of the signals measured are also presented in this article. Traditional methods based on the vibration dose value and frequency weighting methodsfor assessment of these vibrations are less useful in respect to non-stationary character of temporary disturbances.

Content available The Effect of Seat Design on Vibration Comfort
EN
A field study was done to evaluate different seat designs in the aspect of minimizing vibration transmission and reducing the level of discomfort experienced by drivers subjected to transient vibration. Two seat designs (sliding or fixed in the horizontal direction) were compared in an experimental based on variation of sitting posture, speed, and type of obstacle. The comparison was done by assessing discomfort and perceived motion and by vibration measurement. Ten professional drivers were used as participants. Maximum Transient Vibration Value and Vibration Dose Value were used in the evaluation. The results showed that a sliding seat is superior in attenuating vibration containing transient vibration in the horizontal direction. It was also perceived as giving less overall and low back discomfort compared to a fixed seat.
