Istotne różnice w przyroście runi łąkowej dotyczyły suchej masy. W okresie wegetacji runi łąkowej odczyn gleby nie wykazywał istotnych różnic pomiędzy dwutygodniowymi terminami pobrania próbek, w większym stopniu zmiany dotyczyły wartości kwasowości hydrolitycznej. Zawartość węgla organicznego do zbioru I pokosu obniżała się w kolejnych terminach pobrania, okres po zbiorze pierwszego pokosu do zbioru drugiego sprzyjał kumulacji substancji organicznej w glebie. Zawartość azotu ogólnego zarówno do zbioru I jak i II pokosu obniżała się, a różnice pomiędzy poszczególnymi terminami pobrania próbek były istotne statystycznie. Zmiany zawartości ruchliwych form metali ciężkich w glebie badanego okresu wegetacji, oznaczonych w roztworze NH4NO3o stężeniu 1 mol dm-3 były generalnie niewielkie dla badanych pierwiastków. W odróżnieniu od zawartości metali ciężkich w glebie stwierdzono duże zmiany zawartości omawianych pierwiastków w runi łąkowej.

The aim of our study was to observe changes in the content of mobile forms of heavy metals in the soil and their contents in the meadow sward with regard to selected soil properties. No significant differences in the growth of fresh green mass were observed in particular period contrary to the growth of the dry plant mass. In the investigated period the soil reaction did not differ in samples collected every fortnight while the values of soil hydrolytic acidity did show some differences. The content of organic carbon until the 1st cut decreased in the following sampling periods. Organic matter accumulated during the period between the first and the second cuts. The total nitrogen content decreased until the 1st cut as well as until the 2nd cut, however, there were no significant differences between particular periods of sampling. For all the elements under study generally only slight changes were detected in the content of mobile forms of heavy metals in the soil as determined in the NH4NO3 solution of a concentration of 1 mole dm-3. In contrast to the content of heavy metals in the soil there were great changes in the content of discussed elements in the meadow sward.
