Chęć oraz nacisk ludzkości na ciągły rozwój, jest motorem napędowym dla innowacyjnych pomysłów na świecie. Jednym z efektów tego nacisku jest koncepcja inteligentnego miasta - Smart City. W sprytnych miastach bardzo ważną rolę odgrywa logistyka oraz transport miejski. Wśród pionierskich pomysłów wprowadzonych w życie w dużych metropoliach są pojazdy na minuty, które, dzięki rozwinięciu Internet of Things, w ostatnim czasie bardzo zyskały na popularności. Są to nie tylko klasyczne 5-osobowe samochody, ale także alternatywne środki transportu takie jak: hulajnogi elektryczne, skutery elektryczne, rowery czy samochody dostawcze. Katowice,w ramach wdrażania Smart City, zdecydowały się na pozwolenie przedsiębiorcom transport-sharingowym wprowadzenia swoich usług na teren stolicy województwa śląskiego. W referacie przeanalizowano konkurencyjność usług przedsiębiorstw transport-sharingowych. Podsumowując różnorodność oraz mnogość ofert przedsiębiorstw transport-sharingowych daje klientowi w Katowicach możliwość doboru środka transport w elastyczny, dostosowany do potrzeb sposób.

Nowadays, the desire and the emphasis, which are put on continuous development, drive the innovative ideas all over the word. As an effect, the concept of Smart City was created. This term refers to the cities where logistics and public means of transport are crucial. One of the pioneering ideas implemented in Smart City is the possibility of renting a vehicle for minutes. This solution is proposed mainly in the big metropolises, and thanks to the development of Internet of Things, it has recently gained huge popularity. Among the offered vehicles, there are not only classic, ordinary passenger cars, but also the alternative means of transport such as: electric scooters, bicycles and delivery vehicles. In the context of the implementation of Smart City, Katowice decided to allow the transport-sharing companies to introduce their services within Silesia Province. The following project studies the competitiveness of transport-sharing enterprises’ services. The final conclusion shows that the variety of different transport-sharing companies’ proposals give customers the opportunity to choose the most appropriate and economical option for them in a particular moment.
