Poniższy artykuł opisuje proces tworzenia i projektowania rejestratora wybranych parametrów pojazdu. Poza typowymi danymi charakteryzującymi przejazd skupiono szczególną uwagę na danych opisujących akcje kierowcy w trakcie jazdy. Proponowany system może efektywnie zbierać dane z pokładowej sieci CAN pojazdu. Synchronizacja z zewnętrzną kamerą wysokiej rozdzielczości i wbudowany moduł GPS pozwalają na odtworzenie trasy i nanoszenia jej na mapę. Dodatkowo system został zintegrowany z inteligentną kamerą MobileEye® pozwalającą na wykrywanie sytuacji niebezpiecznych. Zaproponowany układ ma służyć do weryfikacji algorytmów przetwarzania obrazów opracowanych w ramach projektu EyeVid.

The following article describes the process of design and implementation of vehicle data recorder for selected vehicle parameters. In addition to standard data characterizing a journey, special attention was paid to information that describes actions of the driver. The proposed system can efficiently collect data from on- board vehicle CAN network. Synchronization with external high resolution camera and built-in GPS module allows to play back journeys and apply them on maps. Additionally, the system was integrated with MobileEye ® intelligent camera which can detect dangerous situations. The proposed system will be used to verify the image processing algorithms developed in the EyeVid project.

Dank einer strukturierten Vorgehensweise zur Bestimmung der relevanten Fahrzeugparameter können die hier vorgestellten Verfahren schnell und fehlerfrei durchgeführt werden. Eine bedeutende Rolle spielt hierbei die Einfachheit der Methoden sowie ein geringer Kostenaufwand. Vor allem muss jedoch gewährleistet sein, dass die ermittelten Parameter hinreichend genau den tatsächlichen Werten entsprechen.Hier für ist eine genau Kenntnis der Messtechnik sowie der Datenbearbeitung nötig, um Fehler frühzeitig identifizieren und beheben zu können. Die ermittelten Kenngrößen können benutzt werden um ein virtuelles Modell zu parametrisieren oder um einen Vergleich zwischen verschiedene Fahrzeugen oder deren Konfigurationen durchzuführen.

Thanks to methods for estimation and identification of significant vehicle’s parameters, they can be carried out quickly and error-free. The importance of those methods relies on simplicity, the low costs and reliability that estimated parameters represent directly researched vehicle with its all configurations regarding operation tools and tyres. However, the basic knowledge of measurement, test engineering and date analysis are necessary in order to identify and debug obvious mistakes.Those obtained data can be used in simulation of vehicle model or for comparison of different vehicles or their configurations.
