W artykule przedstawiono koncepcję wymiarowania procesu konfekcjonowania. Określono pracochłonność procesu jako podstawę do jego wymiarowania. Dla wybranego podprocesu wyznaczono jego pracochłonność przy użyciu narzędzi MTM, a następnie empirycznie, z zastosowaniem metodyki określenia minimalnej liczebności próby.

This paper presents a conception of dimensioning of the kitting process. The workload of process was determined as a base for its dimensioning. For the selected subprocess there was defined its workload with use of MTM instrument and then empirically, with use of methodology of definement the minimum sample size.

W artykule przedstawiono opracowanie projektu dwóch wariantów (ręcznego i automatycznego) podsystemu konfekcjonowania w istniejącym magazynie dystrybucyjnym. Artykuł obejmuje określenie zadania logistycznego, identycznego dla obu badanych wariantów; ukształtowanie i zwymiarowanie ww. wariantów podsystemu konfekcjonowania; porównanie tych wariantów projektowych oraz wnioski. Określono liczbowe kryteria oceny, przedstawiono zestawienie ich wartości dla obu wariantów podsystemu konfekcjonowania. Dokonano porównania wariantów, wskazano preferowany wariant realizacji podsystemu konfekcjonowania.

This paper presents a project of two variants (manual and automatic) of kitting subsystem in the existing distribution warehouse. The paper includes the determination of the logistical task for a kitting subsystem, identical for both analyzed variants; configuration and dimensioning of these kitting subsystem variants; as well as comparison of project’s variants and conclusions. The criteria for the evaluation of design solutions were defined and summarized for both variants of kitting subsystem. These variants were compared then a preferred kitting subsystem due to the selected criteria was indicated.

Artykuł porusza zagadnienia dotyczące logistyki omnichannel. Omawia istotę wielokanałowych systemów sprzedaży oraz wyzwania i szanse stojące przed systemami logistycznymi w zakresie ich wsparcia. Zostały one podzielone na dwa obszary: sieć wspierającą spełnianie oczekiwań klientów oraz dostawy „ostatniej mili”. Każdy obszar został dokładnie scharakteryzowany i podparty wieloma przykładami nowoczesnych rozwiązań logistycznych.

The article raises issues related to omnichannel logistics. It discusses the essence of multi-channel sales systems and the challenges and opportunities facing logistics systems in their support. The challenges and opportunities were divided into two areas: a fulfillment network and last-mile delivery. Each area has been thoroughly characterized and supported by many examples of modern logistics solutions.

e-Choupal is an initiative of Indian Tobacco Company (ITC) Limited which came into existence in the year 2000 with an objective to link rural farmers via the Internet to procure agricultural products. Traditionally, agricultural commodities were procured in mandis, major agricultural marketing centers in rural areas, where the middleman make most of the profit. These middlemen used unscientific and unfair means to judge the quality and set the price of the product and therefore there has been less incentive for the farmers to invest and produce good quality output. With the formation of e-Choupal, the farmers were given a choice to sell their products freely diminishing the influence of the middlemen. This initiative also addressed issues like fragmented farms, weak institutions, and information asymmetry amongst farmers.This paper examines and evaluates the business model of ITC e-Choupal and studies the acceptance of this business by the farmers.

W publikacji przedstawiono wybrane usługi dodane wykorzystywane w sieciach rozległych, a także scharakteryzowano podstawowe typy architektur sieci, w których posiadają one zastosowanie. Omówiono również metody formalnego opisu wybranych usług dodanych na potrzeby ich badania oraz oceny jakości, a także zaprezentowano przykładowe wskaźniki liczbowe możliwe do wykorzystania dla systemów dostarczania treści. Zwrócono uwagę na techniki klasyfikacji ruchu w sieci wykorzystywane na etapie badania wybranych usług dodanych.

In this paper selected value-added services used in wide area networks are characterized, as well as there are also discussed methods for formal description of the selected value-added services to their testing and quality evaluation. Additionally there are presented examples of numerical indicators for content delivery systems and techniques of network traffic classification, which might be used at the stage of testing selected value-added services.

The architecture of IN is briefly reminded and some of the services offered in today's IN systems are described. The paper also discusses the future of IN platform, tuning into the open solution by using new information technology achievements.
