The paper presents the vacuum deposition system of AL designed for automotive industry. Two deposition processes are carried out as a standard. First one it was deposition of Al reflecting film and the second one it was deposition of one or two polymer protecting layer. Due to demanded high industrial production efficiency high speed pumping system was installed. Full automatisation based on PLC S7 with modern vacuum measuring system VCG 403 was used. System is working in start/stop mode to reduce human influence on the final product quality. After different technical and quality tests system was run in production in automative industry.
