Przedstawiono proces zgrzewania oporowego uszczelnień typu plaster miodu do obudowy aparatu sprężarki lotniczego silnika turboodrzutowego. Omówiono specyfikę procesu, rodzaj stosowanych elektrod, sposób mechanizacji procesu, budowę specjalizowanych elektrod zgrzewalniczych oraz rezultaty zgrzewania. Zaprezentowano mikrostrukturę uzyskanych połączeń zgrzewanych oraz finalnych połączeń lutowanych.

This paper presents the investigation of resistance welding of honeycomb structures with the massive metallic substrates. The results have shown that the best welding conditions are determined on the shape of welding electrodes and the method of their mechanization. The most important conclusions are listed as follows: - the stable position and the squeezing force of the welding electrode are playing the significant role on the weld quality, - the brush-shaped electrode provided the best weld quality, - an increase of the welding current enhances the weld quality but the possibility of burning wells formation in a honeycomb cell is enlarged, - the main role of using the resistance welding is to position the joined elements before subsequent brazing.
