Users’ habits in relation to cybersecurity are frequently examined from the micro perspective, using survey results to obtain impactful variables from individuals, focusing on usability and security factors of passwords. In this paper, the influence of macrosocial factors on password strength is studied in order to offer a global comprehension of the influence of the environment on users. Using the list of the 200 most common passwords by countries released by NordPass in 2021, logistic regression has been used to predict macrosocial variable influencing password strength. Results show that (1) Literacy level of a population; (2) Voice and accountability; (3) Level of global cybersecurity; and (4) Level of data breaches exposure significantly predict users’ password strength performance. The author discusses the impact of government on password hygiene of users hoping to influence the development of policies around cyber security configurations and investment set by nations and institutions.

W artykule omówiono zagadnienia dotyczące niezawodności funkcjonowania transportu kolejowego. Scharakteryzowano czynniki, które mogą wpływać na postrzeganie transportu kolejowego przez jego użytkowników jako niezawodnego. W rozdziale 1 i 2 przedstawiono znaczenie transportu kolejowego w Unii Europejskiej oraz ogólne założenia europejskiej polityki kolejowej. W rozdziale 3 omówiono kondycję transportu kolejowego w Europie i jej ewolucję od II połowy XX wieku. W rozdziale 4 zaprezentowano badania prowadzone na grupie 300 podróżnych. Na podstawie badań wyszczególniono i omówiono czynniki, które użytkownicy wskazali jako te, które świadczą o niezawodności kolei. Bezpieczeństwu kolei poświęcono 5 rozdział, w którym przytoczono akty prawne regulujące bezpieczeństwo transportu kolejowego w UE. W ostatnim rozdziale opisano działania podejmowane w celu kształtowania bezpiecznych zachowań użytkowników kolei, zwłaszcza na przejazdach kolejowych. W podsumowaniu zawarto wnioski z przeprowadzonych badań oraz przesłanki dla poprawy niezawodności transportu kolejowego w UE.

In article were discussed some problems relating to reliability of functioning railway. These factors are characterized that can influence the perception of railway transport by its users as reliable. Chapter 1 and 2 presents shortly meaning of railway in European Union and general assumptions of european railway policy. In chapter 3 was discussed condition of railway transport in Europe and its evolution from the second half XX century. In chapter 4 were presented research conducted in group of 300 travellers. On the basis of these research are specified and discussed factors that users have indicated as evidence of railway reliability. Chapter 5 has been dedicated to the railway safety. There were quoted legal acts that regulate safety of railway transport in European Union. In last chapter were presented action which are taken to form safe behaviours of railway users, especially on level crossing. In summary were contained research conclusions and conditions to improve of reliability railway transport in European Union.
