In the paper there are determined, for some classes defined by coefficient or analytic conditions, the sets of complex parameter γ, for which all the functions of the appropriate family have some geometrical properties. There are also provided the examples of the mappings showing that some inclusions between classes are impossible or confirming that sets of the parameter γ cannot be extended in some cases without loss of these geometric properties.

Content available remote The univalence of general integral operator Bazilevič
EN
In this paper we define a general integral operator Bazilevič and we obtain sufficient conditions for univalence of this integral operator.

The concepts of stability regions, A- and A(α)-stability - albeit based on scalar models - turned out to be essential for the identification of implicit methods suitable for the integration of stiff ODEs. However, for multistep methods, knowledge of the stability region provides no information on the quantitative stability behavior of the scheme. In this paper we fill this gap for the important class of Backward Differentiation Formulas (BDF). Quantitative stability bounds are derived which are uniformly valid in the stability region of the method. Our analysis is based on a study of the separation of the characteristic roots and a special similarity decomposition of the associated companion matrix.

Content available remote Some univalence criteria
EN
In the first part of this paper we give a new univalence criterion for the regular functions defined in the unit disk U by means of the well known Becker's criterion. [1]. Using this criterion, in second part we can find univalence for two integral operators which improve similar results given by Y. J. Kim, E. P. Merkes and J. Pfalzgraff.
