W artykule opisano problematykę dostępności przejść bezkolizyjnych dla osób niepełnosprawnych. Uzasadniono - ze względu na aspekt społeczny - konieczność odejścia od wykonywania przejść bezkolizyjnych w niektórych obszarach bądź zwiększenia stopnia dostępności przejść. Podano przykłady trzech rozwiązań, których zastosowanie może poprawić dostępność przejść bezkolizyjnych. Autor przedstawia dwa z nich, trzecie - które stanowi efekt pracy doktorskiej autora - szczegółowo opisuje oraz uzasadnia, podając przy tym kryteria stosowania (cz. 2 artykułu).

The article describes the issues of accessibility of collision-free crossings for people with disabilities. It was justified - due to the social aspect - to abandon the construction of collision-free crossings in some areas or to increase the degree of accessibility of crossings. Examples of three solutions are given, the use of which may improve the accessibility of collision-free crossings. The author presents two of them, the third - which is the result of the author’s doctoral dissertation - describes in detail and justifies, providing the criteria for application (part 2 of the article).

Referring to the current legal status that determines the applied solutions, it focuses on the description of multi-level collision-free underpasses, emphasizing the advantages and disadvantages of underpasses.

Summary. This research is an attempt to compare engineering solutions for traffic intersections from a planning viewpoint. In this research, various solutions have been discussed for traffic intersections (traffic light, roundabout, underpass and overpass). The research highlighted the importance of each of these solutions in urban environments and clarified all variables related to the pros, cons, costs, capacity and environmental compatibility of each of these solutions with the surrounding urban environment. Weights were developed for all these variables, then correlation was determined using the linear regression method. The analysis of statistical results shows that the creation of underpasses often achieves most of the designated goals when compared to other solutions, despite some technical difficulties and high construction costs.

This paper presents design, realization and testing process of 1-st UltraCor structure in Europe. The scope of the design and intalation is 25.50 m Span, 9.00 m Rise structural plate structure of 500x237mm corrugation with only 9.5 mm plate thickness. Structure will cary the heavy traffic of S7 express road. It was designed for the highest class of loads acc. to Polish Standard. Under the structure there is a local raod and animal crossing.

This paper presents how to solve the end treatment for buried steel structure designed initially in an incorrect way. Structure VR9 with span of 4.77m and rise of 3.83m was designed with skew of 28 degree with beveled end cut 1:1.5. Due to heavy loads LM1 LL vehicle the cut end would be subjected to huge deformations. The solution of the problem required the designing of: geogrids to reduce the horizontal active pressure and the 3D concrete frame to carry the vertical loads (soil and traffic). Fem 3D analysis and final solution of cut end reinforcement will be presented in this paper.

Paper presents an alternative solution to the classic issue - a flexible hurried steel structure as the superstructure of pedestrian underpass at Kapitulna street in Włocławek which provides crossing under the tracks of the electrified railway line Number 18 Kutno-Piła. Underpass was built in 2012 by HUSAR BUDOWNICTWO INŻYNIERYJNE commissioned by Włocławek city. The use of the corrugated steel structure allowed for a very quick execution of the investment, without detriment to aesthetics and functionality of underpass.

Przedstawiono doświadczenia z drążenia pierwszej rury (nitki) tunelu pod Martwą Wisłą w Gdańsku oraz porównano je z założeniami projektowymi. Na ich podstawie wyciągnięto wnioski oraz zalecenia do realizacji drugiej rury tunelu. Omówiono metodologię wykonania przejść poprzecznych.

The experiences obtained during the drilling of the first tunnel under Martwa Wisła river were discussed and compared with the situations provided in the project. Several conclusions were stated as well as recommendations to use during the drilling of the second tunnel. Besides, a short method statement about the procedure how to build the evacuation galleries was explained.

This article describes the problems related to tourist and skier traffic at the peak of Kasprowy Wierch between three stations (cabin aerial ropeway, and two chairlifts). Such traffic is made hindered by the large difference in the altitudes between the upper station of the chairlift at Gasienicowa hall and the remaining stations. In order to make ease the pedestrian traffic in the proximity of these stations, a solution was searched for to ensure safe tourist traffic and limit its negative influence on the natural environment. Out of many variants, the conception of an underground passage that is to connect three objects was selected. A necessary condition in this case is the proposition of a driving technology of this object with no use of explosive materials.
