In this work the matrix methods for risk assessment in water supply system SZW have been presented. The three risk levels were assumed: tolerable, controlled and unacceptable. The two parametric matrix for risk assessment combines the point scale of the probability that the threat appears (P) with the point scale of the consequences ( C ). The novelty in the attitude to risk assessment is taking into account that the system protection (O) is inversely proportional to the parameters P, C, E and N.
