The article describes a new technologies used in flotation deinking. LowEnergyFlotation and SelectaFlot deinking cell together with FoamEx are presented.The EcoCell with LEF and SelectaFlot flotation systems remove contaminants from the stock suspension with minimal fiber loss. These flotation systems are frequently designed as a two-stage and are used for removal of hydro-phobic contaminants such as ink and stickies. An important element of both flotation systems are the injectors which generates air bubbles over a wide size range and thus can remove the most varied contaminant particles.
