The aim of this research is to present some results of modification of polypropylene (iPP) filament prepared according to the partially oriented yarn system (POY), which resulted in triple increased rate of filament spinning, allows to eliminate the fibre drawing operation, in contrast to a classic technology. However nevertheless of correspondence to their mechanical properties, the supermolecular structure of POY iPP filament is created in the different way, in contrast to classical iPP fibers. At the same time, the modification of POY PP filament by selected elastomeric additives affects distinguishly on its supermolecular structure. The parameters of supermolecular structure of new modified POY iPP filament, based on the structural investigations using modern analytical methods such as: wide angle X-ray scattering (WAXS) and small angle X-ray scattering (SAXS) have been calculated. Above parameters have allowed to construct a model of iPP matrix structure and to describe its transformation in dependence to content of modifying additive and also drawing and texturing.

Thermal behaviour of aqueous solutions of Pluronic 127F and synthesised copolymers of crylic acid (AAc(PEO)x-(PPO)y-(PEO)z-H) with NiPAm, DMAAm and ApPO was descirbed. LCST and HCST for these systems was determined.
