The paper presents the most general mathematical model of dynamics of the controlled gyroscope on the movable base (the deck of an aerial object). The method of the gyroscope system error correction employed an algorithm based on the idea of iteration procedure of the control of a nonlinear object of hardly known properties, which is affected by interference.

The paper presents a mathematical model of space scanning and a detected target tracking in a homing rocket. The optimum programme and stabilising control for an elastically suspended gyroscope, al Edi- being v drive in the space scanning system, was selected. The dynamics of a controlled gyroscope on elastic suspension at the instant of target detection and the rocket control system switch-on was also investigated.

The paper presents possibility of the application of gyroscope system on elastic suspension in the homing missile co-ordinator. The method of determining the stable control and the parameters of such a gyroscope are discussed. They ensure the fastest damping of the transient process as well as the minimal deviation of the actual trajectory of the axis and the rotor from the desirable one.
