Both geological administration staff and geologists performing services on behalf of businesses face problems on a daily basis due to very extensive and interrelated regulations. An example is the requirements for investors planning to build groundwater intakes. In the case of such projects, the proper design of geological works and the presentation of their results require the application of not only the provisions of the Geological and Mining Law Act of June 9, 2011, but also other legal acts. In particular, it is necessary to know the requirements under the Water Law of July 20, 2017. This article is devoted to this issue.
