A system of criteria for the classification of territorial-production clusters is given. Based on this, groups of synergistic effect factors are identified. An extended algorithm for cluster formation is proposed.

Przedstawiono system kryteriów klasyfikacji klastrów produkcji terytorialnej. Na tej podstawie określono grupy synergicznych czynników wpływających. Zaproponowano rozszerzony algorytm tworzenia klastrów.

The Cluster Theory raises a lot of interest among scientists and government institutions. Internationally, there have been many studies published and empirical research conducted which help broaden the knowledge of clusters. The analysis of literature presented in this article indicates that the comprehension of the nature of creation and development of clusters requires knowledge of management, economics and economic sociology. The Cluster Theory must be viewed in relation to questions such as: regional development, relations within regional business structures, innovation, competitiveness and social capital.

Teoria klastrów wzbudza duże zainteresowanie zarówno wśród naukowców jak i instytucji rządowych. Na arenie międzynarodowej powstało wiele prac oraz przeprowadzono liczne badania empiryczne, które pozwoliły zgłębić wiedzę o klastrach. Zaprezentowana w niniejszym artykule analiza literaturowa wskazuje, iż zrozumienie istoty tworzenia i rozwoju klastrów wymaga wiedzy w zakresie nauk o zarządzaniu, ekonomii i socjologii gospodarczej. Teorię klastrów należy rozpatrywać w odniesieniu do co najmniej takich kwestii jak: rozwój regionalny, relacje w ramach regionalnych struktur działalności gospodarczej, innowacyjność, konkurencyjność firm oraz kapitał społeczny.

Problematyka klastrów jest obecnie „gorącym" tematem, który porusza zarówno środowisko badaczy, jak i praktyków. Poszukuje się wzorcowych rozwiązań i skutecznych metodyk tworzenia i rozwoju klastrów. Jednak stuletnia \ „historia" klastrów zaowocowała w wiele koncepcji, które pokazują złożoność \ problemu. Artykuł stanowi próbę syntezy teorii powstawania i definiowania klastrów. Zaprezentowano nową typologię klastrów opartą na czterech wymiarach: przemysłowo-sektorowym, geograficzno-aglomeracyjnym, naukowo-badawczym oraz społeczno-gospodarczym i międzyorganizacyjnym, związanych z modelem poczwórnej helisy. Elementy identyfikujące klaster oraz typ klastra są podstawą każdej diagnozy. Zakładając, że analiza ma swój konkretny cel, zaprezentowano model analizy klastra, który przedstawia obszary niezbędne do dalszych szczegółowych badań.

The subject of clusters is currently the "hot" issue which affects both the environment of researchers as well as practitioners. There are searches for model solutions and effective methodologies of clusters creation and development. However, the hundred-year "history" of clusters has resulted in many concepts which show the complexity of the problem. The article attempts to synthesize the theory of emerging and defining clusters. It presents a new typology of clusters based on four dimensions: industry and sector, geography and agglomeration, scientific research and socio-economic and inter-organizational dimension of cluster, which are connected with the model of quadruple helix. The factors which identify cluster and the type of cluster are the fundamentals of each diagnosis. Making an assumption that each analysis has its specific goal, the article presents the model of cluster analysis which depicts the areas necessary for further detailed research.
