W Polsce powstanie 20 tuneli kolejowych

W najbliższych latach w Polsce zostanie zbudowanych 20 tuneli kolejowych o łącznej długości 26 km. Najwięcej, bo aż 13 obiektów powstanie w Małopolsce. Usprawnią one przejazd pociągów na trasie Podłęże-Piekiełko. Jednak największa inwestycja zostanie zrealizowana w Łodzi. Powstanie tam tzw. tunel średnicowy, który po oddaniu do użytku będzie najdłuższym liniowym tunelem kolejowym w Polsce.

In the next few years in Poland, there will be built 20 railway tunnels with a total length of 26 kilometres – and this can be described as a revolution in the railway industry in our country. The biggest numer of tunnels -13-will be built in Lesser Poland. Thanks to tchem the communications by rail will improve. The biggest single project will be executed in Łódź: when the so-called cross-town tunel will be built, it will be the longest linear railway tunel in Poland.

Dynamiczny rozwój infrastruktury drogowej w Polsce pociągnął za sobą realizację wielu nowych inwestycji tunelowych. 17 obiektów, których budowę Generalna Dyrekcja Dróg Krajowych i Autostrad (GDDKiA) ma w planach, powstanie nie tylko w ciągu strategicznych tras drogowych, takich jak choćby tzw. Zakopianka, ale także w najwiekszych miastach – Warszawie czy Krakowie. Jeden z nich będzie miał 2,3 km długości i będzie najdłuższym tunelem drogowym w Polsce.

The dynamic growth of road infrastructure in Poland resulted in the execution of many new tunel projects. General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways plans to build seventeen tunnels – not only within the strategical roads (like the one connecting Cracow and Zakopane) but also the bridgest cities like Warsaw and Cracow. One of the tunnels will be 2,3 kilometres long; it will be the longest road tunel in Poland.

W ostatnich dziesięciu latach znacznie wzrosło zapotrzebowanie na usługi transportowe krajowe i międzynarodowe, co wpłynęło w sposób bezpośredni na rozwój światowego transportu, zwłaszcza drogowego i kolejowego. During recent ten years demand for home and International transportation services increased considerably, what decisively and directly influenced development of the World transport, especially the rail and road ones. Introduction of transportation traffic into the tunnels limits or reduces the street traffic from the cities, shortens distance of roads, enables safe passing the maintain chains, rivers and straights what contributes to the landscape's protection tanks, among others, to reduction of fumes emission or elimination of the noise. The World trends - of what is discussed in the article - indicate to a dynamic development of tunnelling in the future, also in Poland.
