The paper presents newly developed slow-burning, warning vest designed for Police officers. All materials forming the vest meet the requirements of PN-EN 471 + Al: 2008, "Clothes-visibility warning for professional use. Test methods and requirements " and PN-EN ISO 15025:2005 determination of resistance to ignition of textiles". Taken a test batch of slow-burning new elaborated vest. Police Headquarters has selected officers from two departments (Prevention and Traffic) for performance tests. Vests with proper dimensions match the dimensions of a sample of officers selected for testing. To facilitate the collection of opinions on the characteristics used jackets designed questionnaire, the results are shown in the chart.

Przedstawiono wyniki badań dotyczące napełniania polietylenu dużej i małej gęstości celem otrzymania materiału o cechach antystatycznych i trudnopalnych. W pierwszym etapie otrzymano wysoko napełnione kompozyty do których następnie dodano czysty polietylen i w ten sposób otrzymano końcowy materiał. W wyniku wytłaczania dwusHmakowego współbieżnego uzyskano poziom trudnopalności FH-1 wg ISO 1210 i rezystancję powierzchniową <106Ω

The article presents the findings concerning the filling of LDPE and HOPE in order to obtain a material having antistatic and low flammability. in the first stage highly-filled composites were obtained. Next, pure polyethylene was added to the masterbatch and in this way the final material was made. As a result of twin-screw concurrent extrusion the obtained level of slow-burning was FH-1 according to ISO 1210 and the obtained surface resistance was < 106 Ω.
