The problem of the free vibrations of the system modelling the truck crane chassis frame connected with the rotary frame and the telescopic boom is considered. The considerations have been done by the use of finite element method and the system COSMOS/M based on this method. The model obtained have been used to analyse the influence of many its parameters on the dynamic behaviour of the system. Some results of such analysis are presented.
