Opracowano trzy efektywne metody syntezy czwartorzędowych soli amoniowych z kationem trimetylowinyloamoniowym.

Me3N⊕CH2CH2Cl Clө – was converted to 8 salts of general formula Me3N⊕CH=CH2 Xө by reaction (i) with NaBF4 or Na⊕Nө(CN)2 in H2O and then with KOH (X = BF4 or N(CN)2)), or (ii) with KOH in MeOH and then with K acesulfamate, Na saccharinate or Li⊕(CF3SO2)2Nө– (X = acesulfamate, sacchari‑ nate or (CF3SO2)2N), or (iii) with KOH in MeOH and then with HNO3, EtSO3H or 2,4‑Cl2C6H3OCH2COOH (X = NO3, EtSO3, 2,4‑Cl2C6H3OCH2COO). The product yields were 87–98% independently on the synthesis method. The salts produced were studied for chemical structure, thermal stability and soly. in org. solvents. Some of the salts were ionic liqs.)2N), or (iii) with KOH in MeOH and then with HNO3, EtSO3H or 2,4‑Cl2C6H3OCH2COOH (X = NO3, EtSO3, 2,4‑Cl2C6H3OCH2COO).
