W artykule omówione zostały zagadnienia zastosowania stali stopowych w środkach transportu. Przedstawiono podstawowe informacje dotyczące produkcji stali stopowych, walcowania na gorąco, właściwości mechanicznych oraz korozyjnych. Sporządzono wykresy przedstawiające uśrednione wartości granicy plastyczności, wydłużenia względnego, twardości oraz odporności korozyjne (PREN) dla wybranych stali stopowych.

The article discusses transport applications of most popular stainless steels. The basic information about the production of alloy steels, hot rolling, mechanical and corrosion properties in that paper, are presented. In addition, the plots of yield strength, relative elongation, hardness and corrosion resistance (PREN) for selected stainless steels were shown.

The concept of an innovative support tool for freight transport used in planning, organization and realization is presented in this paper. In addition to the basic functions of a fleet management tool, the educative approach towards environmentally friendly behaviour will be based on promoting ecological solutions, such as unconventionally powered cars, e.g., electric vehicles (EVs). The suggested criteria for a routing algorithm, which will be implemented in the freight transport planner tool, not only allows routing in relation to time and cost criteria, but also the criterion regarding the limitation of emissions of harmful factors. The implementation of innovative the S-mile platform gives rise to environmentally friendly cognition behaviour in the freight transport sector. This is a fundamental aspect to its application, which could help to move the planning, organization and realization of freight transport in the direction of more environmental friendly solutions.

The present paper presents results of research on opinions of farm owners concerning the need and forms of transportation services within the context of their education. According to 59.04% of surveyed farmers, there is demand for transportation services. The primary reason for such demand is time savings (the number of answers increases along with an increase in farmer’s education). 48.80% of farmers use such services (42.86% having a primary education and 71.43% having a higher education). The primary reason for using such services is the fact to be cheaper when compared to own transport - percentage share in answers increases along with an increase in education. Among farmers who provide such services, 71.24% perceive it as a source of additional income. Either transportation services in the form of sale or purchase of means of produce sale or combination of these occur in 44.56% of answers. All-inclusive transportation services in external transportation, that is purchase of means and collection of goods, are preferred by 36.73% on average and the number increases along with an increase in education. The values for farmers having a primary and higher education are: 14.29% and 67.14% respectively.

Przedstawiono wyniki badań dotyczących opinii właściciela gospodarstwa na temat potrzeb i form obsługi transportowej w kontekście jego wykształcenia. Według 59,04% rolników usługi transportowe są potrzebne. Podstawowym powodem przemawiającym za potrzebą usług jest oszczędność czasu (ilość odpowiedzi rośnie wraz ze wzrostem wykształcenia). 48,80% rolników korzysta z usług (42,86% podstawowe i 71,43% wyższe). Podstawowym powodem korzystania z usług transportowych jest to, iż są one tańsze w stosunku do transportu własnego - % odpowiedzi rośnie w miarę wzrostu wykształcenia. Wśród rolników dających usługi średnio 71,24% upatruje w tym dodatkowy zarobek. Obsługa transportowa w formie: albo zakup środków, albo sprzedaż produkcji lub ich połączenie 44,56% odpowiedzi. Pełną obsługę transportową w transporcie zewnętrznym tzn. zakup środków i odbiór produktów preferuje 36,73% średnio i ich udział rośnie wraz z wykształceniem. Jest to 14,29% rolników z wykształceniem podstawowym i 67,14% z wykształceniem wyższym.

W artykule omówiona została problematyka konkurencyjności alternatywnych środków transportu w podróżach tzw. dużych rodzin w Polsce. Ze względu na specyfikę podróży rodzinnych konkurencyjność poszczególnych środków transportu jest inna aniżeli ma to miejsce w przypadku np. podróży służbowych. Mają na to wpływ między innymi ustawowe ulgi przy przejazdach środkami komunikacji zbiorowej oraz większa liczba przewożonych w jednej chwili osób. W artykule określono najbardziej konkurencyjne i najmniej konkurencyjne środki transportu z punktu widzenia dużych rodzin. Ma to istotne znaczenie nie tylko dla budżetów domowych poszczególnych zainteresowanych, ale wpływa także na sytuację finansową konkretnych przewoźników. Autor wskazał także sposoby na poprawę konkurencyjności poszczególnych środków transportu.

Paper presents the problem of competitiveness of alternative means of transport in travels of large families in Poland. The specificity of family travels is different than business trips so the competitiveness of alternative means of transport is also different. Particular attention was paid to check which kind of transport is more competitive than others. It is not only very important for home budgets but also very important for transport companies.

W artykule przedstawiono koncepcję przeprowadzania oceny systemu eksploatacji środków transportu komunikacji miejskiej. Zaproponowano wskaźniki i charakterystyki związane z oceną niezawodności eksploatowanych pojazdów. Wyznaczenie ich wartości wymaga zebrania dodatkowych informacji, które – gromadzone w bazach danych – ułatwiają podejmowanie decyzji zarówno w zakresie oceniania stanu technicznego eksploatowanych pojazdów, jak przygotowania technicznego zaplecza remontowego, planowania zaopatrzenia w części wymienne i materiały eksploatacyjne.

The paper presents the conception of the valuation of the vehicles' maintenance system in municipal public transport services. A sample of the reliability index and characteristics have been presented. They are evaluated on the ground of the maintenance information stored in proper databases. The decision are strictly connected with the supervision of the vehicles' technical conditions, prepatation of the maintenance station and the supply of spare parts and materials needed during the reparing.

The "Price - time" model is usually applied to evaluate market share in transport corridor among railway and pIane. In this article, the model was used to particular railway and car case. Foundations of theoretical methods as well as computational example were introduced.

Model cena - czas umożliwia badanie rozdziału potoku pomiędzy dwa środki transportu: najczęściej są to kolej oraz samolot. Jego zaletami są zarówno przejrzysta i logiczna struktura, jak też wartość użytkowa, potwierdzona i udokumentowana wieloma zastosowaniami praktycznymi. Konstrukcja modelu wykorzystuje pojęcie "wartości czasu", które charakteryzuje populację podróżnych oraz "kosztu generalizowanego". W artykule opisano podstawy metodyczne budowy modelu oraz przedyskutowano wyniki jego zastosowania do warunków polskich na przykładzie wybranej relacji.

Traffie by different transportation means inside a town is generated not only by its inhabitants, but also by persons visiting the given town for different purposes (obligatory and faeultative). Those persons generate signifieant inner traffie; that is why they should be eonsidered in detailed traffie spatial analyses for a given town. The study presents an algorithm for determination of number of persons visiting a town, in eaeh behaviourally homogeneous group, using a different means of transport (by ear as a driver, by ear as a passenger, by publie bus or train transport). This algorithm has been sueeessfully used in spatial traffie analyses in seven Polish towns.

Różnymi środkami transportu podróżują wewnątrz miasta nie tylko jego mieszkańcy, ale także osoby przyjezdne, na przykład w celach obligatoryjnych i fakultatywnych. Osoby przyjezdne generują znaczną liczbę podróży, dlatego też powinny być uwzględniane w szczegółowych analizach przestrzennych ruchu na obszarze danego miasta. W pracy przedstawiono algorytm wyznaczania liczebności osób różnych grup jednorodnych zachowań komunikacyjnych przyjeżdżających do miasta danym środkiem transportu (samochodem jako kierowca, samochodem jako pasażer, liniami PKP, liniami PKS). Algorytm ten zastosowano z pozytywnym skutkiem w analizach przestrzennych ruchu siedmiu miast Polski.

The article presents issues connected with the organisation and ways of decontamination on permanent (stationary) or field decontamination points for rail and road transport vehicles. In the introduction there have been defined the aim of the rail and road transport decontamination and actions connected with it (sanitary actions, decontamination, cleansing, disinfection, disactivation). The further part of the article focuses on the ways to conduct the contamination eradication on permanent and adapted posts of special treatment and sanitary activities. A special attention has been paid to these posts organisation (the possibility of room adaptation) and how to carry on decontamination tasks using available assets and forces. The final part of the article stresses the role of commanders and military leaders in numerous unsolved problems in this area. Thus changes have been suggested in organisational – legal, technological and technical areas.

W artykule scharakteryzowano ze środowiskowego punktu widzenia ogólną sytuację w transporcie. Jedną z metod ekobilansowania - analizę cyklu istnienia - zaprezentowano jako narzędzie do ilościowego określania różnego rodzaju oddziaływań na środowisko. W skazano również możliwości zastosowania tej metody na tle uwarunkowań obserwowanych w transporcie. Na zakończenie przedstawiono porównawczą analizę wybranych środków transportu z wykorzystaniem metody LCA.
