W pracy przedstawiono system przygotowania (w tym system transportowy) biomasy, umożliwiający elektrowni (w tym przypadku ELECTRABEL Połaniec) produkcję energii elektrycznej i ciepła ze źródeł odnawialnych. Proces współspalania biomasy z węglem kamiennym na skalę przemysłową wymaga odpowiednich instalacji przygotowania i dozowania ekologicznego paliwa. Koncepcja współspalania wymaga także odrębnych układów technologicznych i ciągów dostarczających paliwo do kotła. Zaprezentowano budowę instalacji linii biomasy. Poruszono problem zabezpieczeń systemu, ze względu na wybuchowy charakter paliw ekologicznych w porównaniu z węglem kamiennym. Podjęto problem zagrożeń wynikających ze spalania biopaliw. Przedstawiono sposoby zabezpieczania instalacji biomasy.

The paper presents a system of preparation (including the transportation system) of biomass, allowing power plants (in this case, Electrabel Połaniec) production of electricity and heat from renewable sources. The process of co-firing biomass with coal on an industrial scale requires proper preparation and dosing installation of the clean fuel. The concept also requires a separate systems and the strings that provide fuel for the boiler. The paper describes the construction of a line of biomass. The problem of system security is discussed in the paper, due to the explosive nature of the clean fuels compared with coal. Problems of the risks resulting from the combustion of biofuels are investigated in the paper. Methods of securing the installation of biomass are proposed.
