Głównym celem naukowym projektu jest sprecyzowanie wpływu systemów izolacji transparentnych na formę architektoniczną budynków. Praca zawiera charakterystykę współczesnych kierunków estetycznych architektury solarnej oraz podejmuje próbę umiejscowienia w nich obiektów z zastosowaniem transparentnych izolacji termicznych. Zawiera spostrzeżenia odnoszące się do kształtowania architektury obiektów solarnych z zastosowaniem transparentnych izolacji termicznych.

The building skin provides weather protection, creates comfort in the interior, allows daylight to fall into the building, allows for visual contact with the outside and utilizes solar energy. The utilization of solar energy expands the complex functional spectrum of the envelope. Transparent insulating materials installed on an external wall allow to pass the sunlight throught the materials. The research is aimed at defining connections and relations between transparent thermal insulation systems and the environment as well as spatial parameters of buildings. The paper presents observations and considerations related to incorporating transparent insulation into architectural designs.
