According to the author the most decisive factor determining knowledge management is the increase and development of organizational knowledge. The article describes knowledge management strategies used by business organizations. The criteria of strategy selection were presented: the characteristics of business, the manner of gathering and transferring information, strengths of the organization, the manner of using best practices, relations with customers, the manner of gathering information, the dynamics of learning and knowledge diffusion and also the impact of knowledge gaps on the strategy selection.

Według autora decydującym czynnikiem wpływającym na zarządzanie wiedzą jest wzrost i rozwój wiedzy organizacyjnej. W artykule omówiono strategie zarządzania wiedzą stosowane przez organizacje biznesowe. Przedstawiono kryteria wyboru strategii: charakterystykę biznesu, sposób gromadzenia i transferu informacji, silne strony organizacji, sposób wykorzystania najlepszych praktyk, związki z klientami, sposób gromadzenia informacji, dynamikę uczenia się i dyfuzji wiedzy oraz wpływ luk wiedzy na wybór strategii.
