W artykule została przedstawiona istota i znaczenie ścieżek turystycznych w promocji danego regionu. Ścieżki turystyczne, jako element oferty turystycznej Radomia, opracowane w ramach projektu 26-600 Strefa Kultury zostały przedstawione w oparciu o różne formy transportu. W pierwszej części artykułu dokonano charakterystykę promocji, która stanowi jedno z głównych narzędzi przekazywania informacji pomiędzy uczestnikami rynku usług turystycznych, koordynując popyt i podaż. Dzięki działaniom promocyjnym kształtowany jest wizerunek regionu stymulujący rozwój zintegrowanego produktu turystycznego, którego jednym z elementów są ścieżki turystyczne. Ścieżki turystyczne Radomia ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem form transportu stanowią przedmiot rozważań drugiej części opracowania. Przedstawiono propozycje spędzenia wolnego czasu w Radomiu ustalając dziesięć tematycznych tras turystycznych z uwzględnieniem atrakcyjnych dla turystów form przemieszczania się.

This article is presented the essence and importance of the promotion of tourist trails in the region. Hiking trails, as part of the tourist offer of Radom, developed in the project 26-600 Culture Zone are presented on the basis of different transport modes. In the first part of the article has been characteristic of the promotion, which is one of the main tools of communication between the participants of the tourist market, coordinating supply and demand. Due to promotional activities is shaped image of the region fostering the development of an integrated tourism product, one element of which are hiking trails Radom hiking trails with special emphasis on forms of transport are the subject of consideration by the other part of the study. Proposals to spend your free time in Radom setting ten thematic tourist routes, taking into account attractive for tourists forms of movement.

The paper presents the results of studies of geomorphological processes in the surroundings of tourist paths with an effect on vegetation and soil conditions in the subalpine and alpine zones of the Tatra Mts. Hiking paths at the local level represent a significant factor for increasing efficiency of sheet wash and concentrated runoff and subsequent intensive deep erosion. They can interrupt continuous surface runoff and operate as the local base of erosion base for a part of the slope over them, with gravitational effect of surface runoff from rainfall and melting snow water, which increases the effect of slope denudation. The base of erosion of the paths increases the potential of gravitational failures and decreases the soil-debris cover stability. In these conditions, the development of slope movements accelerated evidently. Morphologically, hiking path can influence the accumulation of snow layers and creates the conditions for persistent snowfields. Blocking effect of the paths is also reflected in a slowdown and the subsequent accumulation of snow mass by snow creep, snow sliding and snow mass gliding. Hiking paths may be a part of areas with development of aeolian-deflational processes and associated destructions of the soil-debris cover.
