Scharakteryzowano nową normę PN-EN ISO 1101:2006. Istotne jej ustalenia zilustrowano oryginalnymi rysunkami autora. Wskazano, że identyczne symbole tolerancji geometrycznej są stosowane zarówno w normach ISO, ASME, jak i w wycofanej PN opartej na normie SEV 301, przy czym dla tolerancji kierunku i położenia zdecydowanie inna jest intepretacja wymagań wg ISO oraz wycofanej PN. Zwrócono uwagę, że różnice występują między normami ISO i ASME. Część I - nr 3/07, s. 160.

A description of the new Standard PN-EN ISO 1101:2006 with its fundamental notions illustrated with original sketches of the Author is given. Attention is drawn to geometric tolerance symbols which are identical to those required in ISO, ASME and in the obsolete PN standard based on SEV 301 specification, whereas it is also indicated that the interpretation of the direction and position tolerance symbols as used in ISO and in the obsolete PN specifications is found different from each other. Attention is drawn to the differences between ISO and ASME specifications.
