The forecast of new tissue machines installation is outlined. The geographical distribution of new built machines is discussed. New investments in Poland are presented. Nine modern tissue machines were built in Poland within the last five years [1, 3-9]. All of them were installed in existing tissue mills. There is also the tissue machines manufacturer (PMP) in Poland. The newest solution of this company is platform Intelli-Tissue® Ultra (see page 82).

Określono wymierne efekty zastosowania układów regulacji wilgotności powietrza w konwekcyjnych suszarniach maszyn tissue. W warunkach wysokich temperatur powietrza suszącego istnieją możliwości podniesienia wilgotności absolutnej powietrza. Maleją wtedy strumienie masowe jego przepływu i zmniejsza się zużycie energii do podgrzewania. Do realizacji takich możliwości niezbędny jest dobrze funkcjonujący układ regulacji wilgotności oparów wydalanych z suszarni maszyny.

The article shows measurable effects resulting from application of air moisture control systems in convective driers of tissue machine. At high temperatures of drying air it is possible to raise air absolute humidity. In this way mass jet of air flow gets lower and energy consumption for heating is reduced. To realize such possibilities it is necessary to have a well operating system for control of vapours from machine drier.
