W artykule omówiono problemy, jakie mogą wystąpić w trakcie wykonywania prób szczelności budynków. Opisano przebieg i metody badania według normy PN-EN 13829:2002 ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem zapisów dotyczących warunków atmosferycznych. Podano wyniki badań szczelności uzyskane w przykładowych budynkach w warunkach normowych i nienormowych.

The article discusses the problems that may arise during the testing of a building for airtightness. Then it describes the course and the means to perform the tests according to PN-EN 13829:2002 standard, with a special notice of provisions concerning weather conditions. Finally, the article provides airtightness test results acquired for sample structures in case of both normal and abnormal conditions.

Commissioning of brake pneumatic elements includes among others, tightness tests. The method of tightness testing presented herein, called a direct comparison method makes it possible to perform alternative classification: tight - untight and to measure leakages of 0.1 dm3/min grade at pressure 0.6 MPa. The essence of the method and results of investigations of different factors of tightness tests procedure are presented.
