This paper presents the design and the study of a nine-phase transmission line system. Two lines (400 kV over 200 km and 400 kV over 600 km) are implemented using Matlab/Simulink to solve problems of environmental damage caused by several lines located in the same place, the multiplicity of electric faults and the poor power capability transmitted of the three-phase systems. The results obtained show that nine-phase line system could connect up to 9.6 times more load than that of a three-phase line system.

W artykule zaprezentowano projekt i analizę dziewięciofazowej linii przesyłowej. Analizowano dwie linie 400 kV – 200 km i 400 kV 600 km. Stosując Matlab/Simulink analizowano zakłócenie środowiska, możliwości powstawania błędów i możliwości przesyłania mocy. Wykazano że sieć dziewięciofazowa pozwala na obciążalność 9.6 razy większą niż sieć trójfazowa.

To improve the reliability of motor system, this paper investigates the sensor fault diagnosis methods for T-type inverter-fed dual three-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) drives. Generally, a T-type three-level inverter-fed dual three-phase motor drive utilizes four phase-current sensors, two direct current (DC)-link voltage sensors and one speed sensor. A series of diagnostic methods have been comprehensively proposed for the three types of sensor faults. Both the sudden error change and gradual error change of sensor faults are considered. Firstly, the diagnosis of speed sensor fault was achieved by monitoring the error between the rotating speed of stator flux and the value from speed sensor. Secondly, the large high-frequency voltage ripple of voltage difference between the estimated voltage and the reference voltage was used to identify the voltage sensor faults, and the faulty voltage sensor was determined according to the deviation of voltage difference. Thirdly, the abnormal current amplitude on harmonic subspace was adopted to identify the current sensor faults, and the faulty current sensor was located by distinguishing the current trajectory on harmonic subspace. The experiments have been taken on a laboratory prototype to verify the effectiveness of the proposed fault diagnosis schemes.

This original paper deals with a new approach for the study of behavior in nonlinear regime of a new three-phase high voltage power supply for magnetrons, used for the microwave generators in industrial applications. The design of this system is composed of a new three-phase leakage flux transformer supplying by phase a cell, composed of a capacitor and a diode, which multiplies the voltage and stabilizes the current. Each cell. in turn, supplies a single magnetron. An equivalent model of this transformer is developed taking into account the saturation phenomenon and the stabilization process of each magnetron. Each inductance of the model is characterized by a non linear relation between flux and current. This model was tested by EMTP software near the nominal state. The theoretical results were compared to experimental measurements with a good agreement. Relative to the current device, the new systemprovides gains of size, volume, cost of implementation and maintenance which make it more economical.

W publikacji analizowano konfigurację szeregową uzwojeń biegunów każdego pasma trójpasmowego silnika reluktancyjnego przełączalnego 12/8. Na podstawie modelu numerycznego określono wpływ sprzężeń magnetycznych na uzwojenia biegunów sąsiednich pasm. Dla konfiguracji NNSS i NSNS zostały wyznaczone charakterystyki momentowo-prądowo-kątowe oraz strumieniowo-prądowo-kątowe. Dla określonych warunków zasilania silnika zostały wyznaczone przebiegi czasowe prądów i momentu elektromagnetycznego. W warunkach laboratoryjnych dokonano weryfikacji wyznaczonych charakterystyk statycznych oraz przebiegów czasowych. Zostały wyznaczone również charakterystyki mechaniczne silnika. Zamieszczono wnioski dotyczące rozpatrywanych konfiguracji w odniesieniu do innych możliwych przypadków pracy tego silnika.

In paper were presented studies of serial configuration of poles windings of three-phase 12/8 switched reluctance motor. Influence of magnetic couplings on poles windings of adjacent phases was determined based on numerical model. Torque-current-angle and flux-current-angle characteristics were determined for NNSS i NSNS configurations. Current and electromagnetic torque waveforms were determined for specified supply conditions of motor. In laboratory conditions obtained static characteristics and waveforms were verified. Mechanical characteristics of examined motor were determined. Conclusions concerning considered configurations in relation to other possible motor operation cases were included.

With the development of science and technology, the smaller sizes generator, the more attention by people. The main purpose of this article is to manufacture three-phase nanogenerator and piezoelectric nanogenerator under vibration, and their working principle are introduced and their performances are studied. The results show that, using the present nanomaterials, three-phase nanogenerator and piezoelectric nanogenerator can be prepared. In ambient vibration condition, piezoelectric materials produce larger rated current and voltage. However, copper laps cutting magnetic line of force produce less rated current and voltage. So the piezoelectric nanogenerator can be separately used to supply power. It may produce higher voltage, current and power if three-phase nanogenerator and piezoelectric nanogenerator in series-parallel connection, and there is commercial value.

Przedstawiono możliwości wytwarzanie trzyfazowego i piezoelektrycznego generator w nanotechnologii. Przy typowych wibracjach materiały piezoelektryczne mogą służyć jako generatory napięcia i prądu. Przedstawiono możliwości połączenia obu generatorów w jeden system.

Starting strategies were investigated for a three-phase single-stage power factor correction (PFC) convetter. Starting process and mechanism of input over current was analyzed in detail. A lossy method was proposed and designed in which a resistor was connected in series with the filter capacitor to increase effective value of output voltage. Based on them, the boost inductors were replaced by central-tapped inductors with flyback windings, and a lossless starting strategy was proposed. Experimental results prove the validity and feasibility of the proposed methods.

Przeanalizowano strategie startu trójfazowego przekształtnika do korekcji współczynnika mocy PFC. Zaproponowano metodę w której rezystor połączony jest szeregowo z pojemnością filtru w celu zwiększenia napięcia wyjściowego. Cewka została zastąpiona cewką z zaczepami umożliwiającej zmianę uzwojeń. Zaproponowano bezstratną strategię startu.

The problem of fully developed flow and heat transfer in a horizontal channel consisting of an electrically conducting fluid layer sandwiched between two fluid layers is studied analytically. The fluids in all phases are assumed to be incompressible and immiscible. Further the fluids are assumed to have different viscosities and thermal conductivities. The governing differential equations are linear and exact solutions are obtained. The expressions for velocity and temperature distributions are computed numerically for different values of physical parameters and the results are presented graphically. The effect of increasing the Hartmann number M is to decrease the velocity and temperature field. It is found that with suitable values of ratios of viscosities and thermal conductivities, the velocity and temperature can be increased.
