As one of the most important decision-making problems in fully mechanised mining, the corresponding mining technology pattern is the technical foundation of the working face. Characterised by complexity in a thin seam fully mechanised mining system, there are different kinds of patterns. In this paper, the classification strategy of the patterns in China is put forward. Moreover, the corresponding theoretical model using neural networks applied for patterns decision-making is designed. Based on the above, optimal selection of these patterns under given conditions is achieved. Lastly, the phased implementation plan for automatic mining pattern is designed. As a result of the industrial test, automatic mining for panel 22204 in Guoerzhuang Coal Mine is realised.

W artykule przedstawiono przebieg wdrażania w kopalni „Bogdanka" techniki strugowej urabiania. Prace przygotowawcze do wdrożenia prowadzone były w latach 2008-2009. W marcu 2010 uruchomiona została pierwsza ściana badawcza wyposażona w kompleks strugowy Bogdanka-1. W kolejnych latach zakupione zostały kolejne dwa kompleksy strugowy Bogdanka-2 i Bogdanka-3, a na przełomie lat 2014/2015 dodatkowo czwarty w miejsce planowanego pierwotnie kompleksu kombajnowego do pokładów cienkich. Obecnie wydobycie ze ścian strugowych stanowi około 50% wydobycia ogólnego.

The article presents the course of implementation of coal plowing technology in a „Bogdanka" mine. Preparatory works for the implementation were carried out in 2008-2009. In March 2010 the first, experimental longwall with coal plowing technology was launched, equipped with Bogdanka-1 plow. In subsequent years, two further plow complexes Bogdanka-2 and Bogdanka-3 were purchased and at the turn of 2014/2015 additionally the fourth one was purchased in the place of the originally planned longwall shearer complex for thin seams. Currently the output from longwalls with coal plowing technology constitutes about 50% of overall production.
