W procesie produkcji odpowiedzialnych konstrukcji nośnych, wykonywanych z kompozytów rowingowych, ważnym problemem jest nadzorowanie jakości części kompozytowych. Obecnie stosowanymi miarami w ocenie jakości takich kompozytów są średnica włókien i objętość względna włókien wzmacniających. Pomijana jest równomierność rozmieszczenia włókien wzmacniających. W pracy przedstawiono wyniki badań z użyciem miar przydatnych do prognozowania wytrzymałości i ich związki z wytrzymałością próbek pochodzących z procesu produkcji dźwigarów łopat śmigłowcowych.

Monitoring of quality is an important task in production process of responsible supporting structures, made from roving composites. This paper presents examination results of samples from the production process of girders for helicopter blades, using geometrical measures for prediction of material strength and durability. The connections of geometrical measurement of microstructure with values of elasticity modulus determined in the transverse shear strength test by short beam method, were assessed. Tests of strength and geometric images were prepared for 81 samples. Fig. 2 presents a fragment of a geometric model, determined for the sample, where each circle describes the average thickness of the matrix around every fiber. Circle diameters correspond to different measurements of matrix thickness. To illustrate the relationship between different measurements of matrix thickness, in figure 3, the red dotted line presents layer of matrix around a single fiber along the perimeter Bw , together with local thicknesses G1, G2 and GAB and averages 1 G and 2 G . During correlation analysis, the following were distinguished: conventional film thickness around a single fiber GAB (2), minimum local film thickness of the matrix around a single fiber G1min , relative volume of the glass U sz . Fig. 7 presents position of the points characterizing both groups in the space defined by the variables distinguished in the correlation analysis. Samples of groups A and B, characterized by [U sz , GAB, G1min ] vectors, were classified with discriminant function (3). In subsequent stages of the multiple regression analysis, it was decided if selected characteristics clearly and explicitly define the composite micro-construction, so that determination of the value of transverse elasticity modulus E 2t is possible. Linear regression equation obtained the form (4). Analyzing the relationship (4) it should be noted that average thickness GAB has the greatest impact on value E 2t in case of considered variability of examined material.

In this paper, we look at the following question. We consider cellular automata in the hyperbolic plane, see [6, 22, 9, 12] and we consider the global function defined on all possible configurations. Is the injectivity of this function undecidable? The problem was answered positively in the case of the Euclidean plane by Jarkko Kari, in 1994, see [4]. In the present paper, we show that the answer is also positive for the hyperbolic plane: the problem is undecidable.
