Praca jest kontynuacją analizy jakości zagospodarowania przestrzeni publicznych w Poznaniu. Do badania wykorzystano autorską metodę ekspercką, która umożliwia porównanie zróżnicowanej próby badawczej. Poznań jest miastem rozwijającym się dynamicznie, a jego władze stawiają sobie za cel, między innymi poprawę jakości zagospodarowania przestrzennego, także w obszarze przestrzeni publicznych. Ze względu na brak jasnych informacji, co do kierunków, w jakich te zmiany mają zmierzać podjęto próbę oszacowania potencjału miasta ze względu na lokalizację i charakterystykę przestrzeni ogólnodostępnych, które mogą być wykorzystywane przez mieszkańców do spędzania czasu wolnego. Początkowy etap analiz poświęcono ocenie dostępności tych miejsc. W drugim etapie dokonano weryfikacji zachodzących zmian, porównując zagospodarowanie doliny rzeki Warty z analogicznymi przykładami czterech miast. Wyniki przeprowadzanych analiz nie pozostawiają wątpliwości co do nieefektywności wprowadzanych modyfikacji i niewątpliwej szkodliwości braku planów strategicznych dla kształtowania wartościowych przestrzeni publicznych w Poznaniu.

The work is a continuation of the quality analysis of public space in Poznan. It was based on the original expert method, which makes it possible to compare the different research sample. Poznan is a dynamically developing city and its authorities set a goal, to improve the quality of spatial development, including in the area of public spaces. Due to the lack of clear information about the directions in which these changes are to be made, an attempt was made to estimate the city’s potential due to the location and characteristics of public spaces that can be used by residents to spend their free time. The initial stage of analyzes was devoted to the assessment of the availability and integration of these places. In II stage, the changes taking place were verified, comparing the development of the Warta river with analogous examples of 4 cities. The results of the analyzes showed the ineffectiveness of the introduced changes and the undoubted harmfulness of the lack of strategic plans for shaping valuable public spaces in Poznan.

In order to ensure a good condition of recreation and the grass surface of sports fields, cultivation and irrigation are necessary. Irrigation under our conditions is necessary intervention. This results from our climate (frequent and long-lasting droughts and the properties of draining layer, which ensures a quick rain water discharge and has no water capacity, i.e. the possibility of absorbing and storing water). Under such conditions the only and reliable way to avoid water deficiency is irrigation. In the case of sports and recreation fields, sprinkler irrigation systems are recommended. Belt sprinkler machines are the most common. These are typical, modern devices used for a quick intervention sprinkler in a moderate climate. The advantages of a sprinkler machine are: concise construction, which allows for transport on a bicycle landing gear without a preliminary loading, readiness for use, full mechanisation, or even semiautomatic irrigation, suitability for sprinkler all crops and for all kinds of landscape. The right amount of irrigation application rate dose is assessed on the basis of operating pressure in the hydrant and the speed of pipeline with sprinkler. Another solution can be an automatic sprinkler system with a pop up sprinkler and computer controllers. The paper presents some schemes of recreation and sports fields irrigation.
