This paper presents the field procedures for determining accuracy of theodolites according to the ISO 12857-2, i.e.: organisation and process of test which contain measurements of horizontal directions, process of calculations, stalistical tests. In this paper enclosed the example of calculation of all accuracy parameters and performed statistical tests on the base of field observations.

The geometrie inventory of chemical installation should be made veiy precisely. The method of creation numerical 3D-model describing chemical installation was presented in the paper. The selection of characteristic points on installation, which should be measured and took into account was proposed. Possibility of using rangefinder Disto to deterraination of polar coordinates was analyzed.
