In technics some objects that are too hot or too far to be measured by common thermometer. The examples are the temperature occuring during welding and temperature of liquid steel in a container. In these situations the empirical (thermodynamical) temperature is unknown. The fundamentals of defining other temperatures of such objects are discussed. The black temperature, color temperature, pyrometric temperature and correlation temperature are discussed.
