In the paper examples of expert systems to the process planning are presented. Formulation of the decision problem, particularly taking into account construction of sleeve, has been described. Basing on the decision trees examples of process planning rules have been presented.

This work presents the method of building expert systems aiding the technological process preparing of machine elements. The analysis of knowledge is achieved and the basis of decision problems are distinguished. On the basis an activity the structure of expert systems are described. It has been elaborated also a schema of processing of a technological knowledge and the building of a knowledge base.
