Innovative multimedia project – the exemplification of the concept of technological entrepreneurship

The scientific purpose of the study is an attempted synthesis of the concept of technological entrepreneurship. The cognitive aim of the publication is to present the functionality of an innovative technological solution the uses authorial applications and interactive devices designed and commercialized by the analyzed technology start-up. The application of the empirical method of a case study has made it possible to characterize the essence of technological entrepreneurship and illustrate the progress and development of the studied phenomenon in business practice. The functionality of an innovative multimedia project has been presented as the exemplification of technological entrepreneurship in cooperation between commercial enterprise and business environment institutions. It has been pointed to measurable economic and social outcomes achieved by the company as a result of conscious implementation of the concept of technological entrepreneurship. Case studies in the field of technological entrepreneurship should develop the existing theory and provide explanations of the hitherto unrecognized phenomena. The author proposes the understanding of technological entrepreneurship as a process that combines the elements of academic and intellectual entrepreneurship with the entrepreneurship of commercial organizations implementing new technologies in the market environment. The designed innovative multimedia project supports the management of information for travelers and information regarding fleet management in public transport.

Obecnie o przedsiębiorczości technologicznej, czy akademickiej, mówi się wiele, ale bardzo mało jest opracowań dotyczących szans i zagrożeń dla postrzegania współpracy realizowanej w jej ramach. Celem prezentowanej pracy jest pokazanie ryzyka jakie za sobą niesie współpraca z interesariuszami firm realizujących przedsiębiorczość technologiczną. W badaniach poprzez wykorzystanie analizy czynnikowej dokonano kwalifikacji grup interesariuszy kształtujących w opinii decydentów identyczne lub porównywalne ryzyko współpracy.

Today, technological or academic entrepreneurship says a lot, but there are very few studies on the opportunities and risks for cooperation within these the framework. The aim of this paper is to show that the risks it carries cooperation with stakeholders of companies implementing technological entrepreneurship. In studies through the use of factor analysis has been qualified to groups of stakeholders in shaping opinion makers identical or comparable risks cooperation.

W opracowaniu przedstawiono w postaci casy study czynniki rozwoju przedsiębiorczości technologicznej w spółce funkcjonującej w ramach Wałbrzyskiej Specjalnej Strefy Ekonomicznej. Określono wpływ zewnętrznych i wewnętrznych uwarunkowań specjalnej strefy ekonomicznej na kształtowanie przedsięwzięć technologicznych. Zidentyfikowano przejawy przedsiębiorczości technologicznej w omawianej spółce i jednocześnie zaproponowano kierunki jej dalszego rozwoju.

The paper presents a case study of the factors of technological entrepreneurship in the company functioning in the Wałbrzych Special Economic Zone. The influence of external and internal conditions of the special economic zone for the development of technology businesses has been determined. Manifestations of technological entrepreneurship have been identified in this company and at the same time directions for its further development have been suggested.
